Puppy ate pack that came in beef jerky?

my sons' dog ate the pack that is in beef jerky bags. it was not silica gel. i took her to the vet this morning. vet thinks she will be fine, he gave her a shot for the nausea and toldme to buy some pedialite and give her some every hour.. if she is not better in a day or two she has to go back
