Does having a tilted uterus prohibit pregnancy?

I have a tilted uterus and have been TTC for 5 months. But, I was on birth control for 10 years before that, so I think my hormones are just now getting in order. I've heard a tilted uterus can cause problems, but I know lots of people that have a tilted uterus and get pregnant right away. My gynecologist said it shouldn't cause a problem. As far as lubricant goes, even if he puts it on himself, it's going to go inside of you. It kills sperm and prohibits them swimming, so yes, lube is VERY bad for TTC. Pre-Seed is way less harsh on sperm, if you need lubricant. I use it. It has been shown to kill some sperm, but nothing compared to normal lubricant. Saliva and water also kill sperm. They are just as bad as lubricant. I know the feeling of wanting a baby. Have you visited a gynecologist? After a year of trying, if you are under 30, doctors will ist you with fertility testing, etc. I will definitely visit my doctor asap, if it's a year before I get pregnant. Good luck!
