Anybody know how to copy old vhs to dvd with copy right, aka macrovision. I am trying to convert my old tapes?

I am trying to covert all my sons old disney tapes to dvd for my daughter. I bought a dvd recorder with a built in vhs for dubbing and I tought I was set.I paid like $250.00. I was able to copy the first tape ANTZ , ( Dream Works Pictures) with no problems. Then I tried A Bugs Life, ( Disney / Pixar) and it said copy protected cannot copy. I tried other tapes with no success. Disney, Pixar, Dream Works, Universal. For whatever reason Antz worked now nothing else will. ANy help I can get would be appreciated. I am just trying to avoid having to buy all the dvd's when I allready have the tapes.
