How do I find out speed of wireless card?

I want to get a new router (125) to speed up my connection but dont know what speed my laptop card is. Laptop is new toshiba satellite dual core but i just cant find out what card it has. I have seen belkin 125 cards on ebay for 15 quid, are these easy to fit? Thanks
