9 months old trouble sleeping?

Does he get a good walk outside in the day? Plenty of fresh air? The reason I ask is because it sounds a lot like he has extra energy...he needs a good playtime in the day and also fresh air...if you know he is already getting this, then are you putting him down for too many naps? Many babies of this age only have 2 a day.
