Trying to find a certain kind of book?

I've just read Animal Farm, which is a political satire of the Russian Revolution, set on a farm in England. It is really interesting and fits the civilization and darker side of humanity part, but not really about our existence (though they do talk about getting rid of humans completely). It's very easy to read and enjoyable, but still deep.
