Serious Opinions on Flying Flags!?

OK this is a new one just had a young man at my door wanting me to sign a petition he has started to outlaw flying foreign Flags instead of the American Flag in your yard or public buildings> I was taken back And did sign with the added comment which he welcomed I say you may fly your home country Flag only if you Fly the American Flag along with it and the American should be displayed on top this is also with the confederate Flag I see Flying around a lot. Do you agree with this or disagree what are your opinions. One last note my husband is a Lt. Col. in the Marine Corp and we do have the American flag and Marine Corp flag flying proudly in our yard!!
